Big news for Malta’s art scene! London-based Maltese artist and sculptor Neal Camilleri has had his work featured in the internationally renowned design publication Wallpaper* – considered one of the world's top global design destinations, championing the best in architecture, interiors, fashion, art and contemporary lifestyle.

Neal’s featured piece, titled ‘Brassy’, forms part of his evocative series ‘Running Around My Grandma’s House’. The collection captures the magic of childhood curiosity, with flowing shapes and playful angles that mirror the joy of exploration and the warmth of family memories.

Known for his ability to bridge past and present, Neal’s work blends ancient architectural motifs with touches of surrealism, resulting in art that’s both visually striking and deeply narrative.

Colour is another key element of Neal’s artistic identity – his bold use of vibrant hues brings his sculptures to life, evoking feelings of joy, reflection, and nostalgia.

Born in Mġarr in 1999, Neal has always been passionate about merging the worlds of art and design. His fascination with architecture, heritage, and culture, combined with a love for animation, continues to inspire his distinctive creative voice.

His journey began right here in Malta, where he studied art history and spatial design, before moving to the UK to pursue Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins. Today, Neal’s work stands as a testament to how Maltese creativity can transcend borders – and get worldwide recognition too!

Congratulations Neal!
