Wednesday 26th January: Two COVID-19 patients pass away as Malta registers 314 new cases
101 virus patients are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 314 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The islands have registered 490 recoveries, meaning that the country’s total number of active cases now stands at 4,309.

Two COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours: males aged 86 and 88. This brings the country’s virus death toll up to 538.

A total of 101 patients are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, six of whom are in ITU.
