Wednesday 13th October: Malta registers 18 new COVID-19 cases and 13 recoveries overnight
Seven virus patients are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 18 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The islands have registered 13 recoveries, meaning that the country’s total number of active cases now stands at 285.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 12th October, Malta had administered 844,723 vaccine doses. 27,409 of these were booster doses.

Fortunately, no COVID-19 deaths were registered in the past 24 hours. This means that the country’s virus death toll remains at 459.

A total of seven patients are being treated at Mater Dei, none of whom is in ITU.
