X Factor Malta Season 2 is well underway, and we’ve seen a mix of auditions: some good, some not so great, and some out of this world. Although we’re a small island, we’ve got big talent, and some local stars which have even landed great spots on foreign channels.

One such name is 18-year-old Kyle Cutajar, the glorious bluesy singer that took on Sam Smith’s I’m Not The Only One for his audition, and had us melting to sound of his pipes. And get this! He was even featured on X Factor Global, a page that highlights the best singers from around the globe. #YASHoney

“Kyle Cutajar you’re ageing like fine wine!” says X Factor Malta’s original post, which X Factor Global obviously had to share. “From last year’s participation in X Factor Malta to this performance, this young man certainly upped his game. BRAVO!”

Apart from Kyle, locals Edward and Justine were also featured on X Factor Global in the past weeks. Kyle was actually part of a group last year, Systm12, and made it right up to the judges’ houses - he says that last year’s experience helped him to grow as a singer. Howard Keith was immediately impressed, and Alexandra Alden was in tears almost instantly.
