When we talk about cliffs in Malta, our mind immediately jumps to Dingli Cliffs, or if we’re in a Gozitan context, those at Ta’ Cenc, within the perimeters of Sannat. But in reality, these are just two of around 29 cliffsides found along the Maltese shorelines.

One equally beautiful set of cliffs is actually found not too far off from the Ta’ Cenc cliffs. Perched off the limits of Munxar, Sanap cliffs engulf Xlendi bay – an inlet beach which is immensely popular in summer and for diving trips.

A recent video shared by YouTube user Gozo Drone, highlights every angle of the Sanap cliffs’ beauty – from the gigantic heights of the cliffs, to the surrounding greenery, to the quaint pathways leading up to them.
