WATCH: Relive the best of Game of Thrones season 1 with this Isle of MTV video
We’re taking a trip down memory lane!

Now that Game of Thrones has come to an end, we’re already missing the battles, shocks, twists and turns that came with the HBO series. But we can always live out some of the famous scenes from season one at these eight locations on the Maltese Islands, as shared in a recent Isle of MTV video!

1. Verdala Palace

The President’s summer residence is where Daenerys first meets Khal Drogo. You know, that scene where she’s basically terrified of her hubby-to-be? I mean, that hook-like sword and piercing stare are enough to send chills down anyone’s spine!

2. The Azure Window

Daenerys and Drogo were married in Dwejra, where the breath-taking arch once stood before its collapse in 2017. The scene saw thousands of Dothraki scattered across the area for the celebrations.

3. The Mdina Gate

Catelyn and Ned Stark said their heart-breaking final goodbyes. That passionate kiss breaks my heart every time. And Ned’s longing look? Damn, here come the tears.

4. Mesquita Square, Mdina

The little square in the heart of the Silent City is where Jaime Lannister ambushed Ned Stark with a fight in the streets. When you hear “Come Stark, I’d rather you die sword in hand” and “You kill me, your brother’s a dead man,” you know in your gut that things aren’t going to end well.

5. Fort Manoel

The historic fort doubles as the Great Sept of Baelor where Ned Stark was beheaded in front of Sansa and Arya and the whole of King’s Landing. Those Lannisters were crappy people to begin with.

6. San Anton Palace

San Anton Palace, home to the President of Malta, and the setting of the Red Keep in season one. This is where Joffrey forced Sansa to look at her father’s head on a spike. I mean, come on, the poor girl had to watch the whole thing go down, there’s no need to rub it in her face, too! Then he proceeds to tell his guard to slap her in the face for commenting.

7. Fort St Angelo

Fort St Angelo in Birgu served as the Red Keep prison where Ned Stark was held before his beheading. We missed Ned’s raspy voice all these years.

8. Mtahleb Cliffs

Mtahleb Cliffs is home to one of the most iconic scenes in the series, where Daenerys emerges from the flames with her baby dragons and became a #bawse in the process.
