A video published earlier this morning by The Malta Police Force Facebook page highlights the inspections being carried out across the islands to ensure Malta remains a safe and secure country during the pandemic.

The caption revealed details of more planned actions: "As Police inspections continued throughout the week across Malta & Gozo in connection with enforcement of the legal notice relating to the number of persons in public spaces, among others. These inspections are set to intensify further today (Sunday)" it read.

The importance of obeying health regulations was also emphasised: "Our Job is to Promote and Maintain Malta as a Safe and Secure State - Yours is to Stay at Home!"
