Back in 2019, Michela Pace graced the Eurovision stage with her angelic voice and hit song 'Chameleon' – and from the looks of it, Malta was never alone in its love for this tune! 

This Eurovision entry was just featured on the Belgian edition of televised singing competition ‘The Voice Kids’, where it was sung by 13-year-old Joandel in his blind audition. 

To our surprise, the judges even knew the song and joined Joandel in singing the lyrics! 

“I had heard ‘Chameleon’ by Michela once and I couldn’t get it out of my head. I was constantly singing it and had no choice but to choose it as my audition song. The song isn’t very well known with the general public, although it did ring a bell with coach Duncan Laurence, who won the Eurovision Song Contest three years ago,” young Joandel told Nieuwsblad. 

Despite only being uploaded to YouTube three days ago, footage of Joandel singing ‘Chameleon’ has already amassed well over 20,000 views.
