This stormy weather we’re having is proving to be quite violent! Yesterday, one heck of a lightning bolt decided to make its presence known by striking what looks like a small catamaran birthed at Mellieha Bay.
According to It-Temp Madwarna, “a Cloud to Ground lightning bolt hit a catamaran” in the limits of Mellieha during yesterday afternoon’s storm. “Reportedly, the electronics and engine on board were fried by the lightning’s current. The video shows smoke coming from the boat after the lightning struck, which was less than a kilometre away from where the video was shot.”
