WATCH: Lad on 72-hour Malta holiday jumps into Triton Fountain for cheeky midnight dip
Malta's capital is a glorious paradise at any time of the day: there's shopping, food, nightlife and music, all readily available amidst sea and ancient architecture. The capital city of Valletta has infinite potential to create the ultimate, versatile night-out, and a group of youths holidaying on the Maltese islands for just three days took full advantage.
The group, which visited Malta around the end of January, went on a whirlwind tour of Malta, with their vlog showcasing some pretty stunning shots of our islands such as the Xwejni salt pans in Gozo and various cliff sides.
However, it is one particular sequence towards the end of the three-minute video that really caught our attention. In the clip, one teen from the group is seen standing in front of Triton Fountain, just outside Valletta, before jumping in.
While it is illegal to have a swim in the fountain, or throw rubbish in or fish for coins, we can't say we've never fantasised about being a tad reckless and jumping in ourselves after a fun night out in Valletta.
The lad's swim was short, barely five seconds between the moment he jumped in and quickly clambered out.
Check out this youth enjoying his little swim below:
We hope you didn't catch a cold!
