The bunker’s location was not disclosed to prevent acts of vandalism.
In his latest vlog, local explorer Conrad Neil Gatt takes his viewers on an adventure unlike any other, as he descends into an underground oil complex – one of the many hidden World War II gems scattered around the islands.
As Conrad started his descent down the narrow bunker, he became rather sceptical of his safety (and with good reason), so he did the right thing and climbed back up.
It didn’t take long before Conrad returned, however, this time equipped with some professional advice and better awareness of just how dangerous this adventure is.
On his second attempt, Conrad actually managed to climb down the never-ending ladder leading to the underground complex, situated a whopping five storeys underground.
There he was met with a strong smell of oil which was used way back during World War II.
The complex's pump room was chock-full of pipes and valves emerging from all four walls. Unfortunately, the adjacent rooms were blocked off and Conrad couldn’t access them.

Conrad chose against disclosing the precise location of the bunker in a bid to prevent any acts of vandalism.
