In one of his latest vlogs, Pierre Farrugia took his followers and his bright yellow orange kayak on a summery adventure. Every summer, Pierre starts off with an ‘easier’ voyage to kickstart his first paddle, just in case he runs into any problems. That is why this explorer started off with Rinella Bay in Kalkara, his former hometown.

His plan included hugging the shore and exploring Kalkara and the Vittoriosa promenade, then head off to Valletta. This beautiful process will have him visiting two beautiful sea caves.

While making his way to the Kalkara thermal baths, Pierre noticed that of the Bighi walls had collapsed. He comments that he hopes that this is repaired before any more damage is done. This was not the first time that Pierre has witnessed the thermal baths, but they are equally impressive when viewed from the sea.

After exploring Kalkara, Pierre heads off to Vittoriosa where he explores a hidden cave that includes a sandy beach inside. As one enters this cave, you can see that it is prone to rock fall so extra caution is needed when visiting.

Next up, Pierre crosses over to Valletta and here he explores another beautiful sea cave that almost looks like a dead end in the beginning. This cave is a tight one but, hold on, as you will reach a point in which you will get a glimpse of light from the other end, and it is absolutely magical.

Once this cave opens up, it’s like you’re in another world. The sun hits you in the face and the cave gets high and wide and you can finally paddle freely and comfortably again.

After this beautiful adventure and enjoyable paddle, Pierre heads back to Rinella...back on land.
