It’s Friday, baby! The weekend is right around the corner and we’re craving a dip in the sea. If you’re lucky enough to be off today or are thinking of heading to the beach for an after-work swim, here are the best bays to choose from in accordance with today’s weather, as recommended by reliable weather site Maltese Islands Weather.
Malta
Overall, it seems like an awesome day to go swimming, with a good number of the island’s bays expected to be free from jellyfish, rough seas and debris. If you want to take a dip in the gorgeous south of the island you’ve got Ghar Lapsi, Wied iz-Zurrieq, Pretty Bay, Marsaxlokk, Hofriet, St Thomas Bay, Marsaskala and Rinella Bay to choose from. If you want to go a little more central, then Sliema and St George’s Bay are good choices. Heading up north? Bahar ic-Caghaq, Qawra, St Paul’s Bay, Mistra Bay, Imgiebah and Mellieha have been given the all-clear!
Gozo
Sailing to Malta’s sister isle for the day? You’re in luck! There are loads of safe bays to choose from today, including Mgarr ix-Xini, Xlendi, Dwejra Inland Sea, Wied il-Ghasri, Xwejni Bay, Qbajjar, Marsalforn, Ramla l-Hamra, San Blas Bay, Dahlet Qorrot and Hondoq ir-Rummien.
