Want a taste of history & heritage? These six sites will be open for free throughout June
Heritage Malta is back to bring you closer to Maltese history.
Following the ease of COVID-19 measures, Heritage Malta has announced it is re-opening six of its museums and heritage sites to the public. And the good news doesn't stop there - entrance will be free throughout the month of June!
The six sites involve Fort St Elmo, Fort St Angelo, Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples, the Tarxien and Ġgantija Temples, as well as the National Museum of Archaeology.
These sites will for the time being only be open on weekends - Saturday and Sundays between 10am and 5pm - during which times public access is free of charge.
Hoping to bring the public closer to Maltese history, Heritage Malta announced that more sites could be reopened in the near future if the venture proves successful.
