Visitor access for patients at Mater Dei will be restored on Monday!

At long last! Mater Dei Hospital just shared that on Monday 15th, it “will be restoring visitor access for patients.” Visitors will now be allowed to visit relatives and friends in hospital from 5-6pm from Monday-Sunday, including public holidays.

“Visitors will be screened by hospital staff before being permitted to proceed,” they said, noting that a mask or visor must be worn and visitors are being asked to “perform hand hygiene using the hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the hospital.”

The hospital also had an appeal for visitors: “Respect our patients - if you have flu symptoms please postpone the visit until you have recovered.”
