Local dog sanctuary Noah’s Ark, which is presently home to around 150 dogs, has appealed to the generosity of the public to help replace a 12-year-old Peugeot Partner van which was used as their first official Animal Ambulance.

In a post to the sanctuary’s Facebook group, Noah’s Ark explains that the van is “on the brink” and is “frequently going into ‘intensive care’, which is becoming rather costly,” appealing to kind-hearted individuals to either donate a second-hand replacement or some funds needed to purchase another van.

The sanctuary, which rescues innumerable abandoned dogs throughout the year, offering them comfort and medical care, is financed by the generosity of private individuals, so they need our help to make this happen.
