Up in the sky! French Navy Falcon 10 MER confirmed for Malta International Airshow 2025
Unfortunately, the Spanish Navy has had to cancel its planned participation this year.
The Malta International Airshow 2025, happening on the 27th & 28th of September, is set to welcome an exciting addition to its lineup: the French Navy’s Falcon 10 MER will perform in the flying display!
This sleek maritime surveillance and liaison jet is celebrated for its agility, elegant design, and operational versatility. Used by the French Navy for maritime patrol, training, and rapid personnel transport, the Falcon 10 MER is expected to deliver a beautiful aerial performance over Malta’s scenic skies. Its appearance marks a rare opportunity for aviation enthusiasts to witness this dynamic aircraft in flight.
In less fortunate news, the Spanish Navy has had to cancel its planned participation due to operational commitments. The much-anticipated AV-8 Harrier and its support aircraft, the Cessna Citation Ce550, will not be appearing at this year’s show.
To ensure the lineup remains thrilling, the German Air Force has stepped in with an exciting alternative. Aviation fans will be treated to two solo Typhoon demonstrations each day; a high-speed, high-performance showcase that’s sure to impress even the most seasoned airshow attendees.
With these updates, the Malta International Airshow 2025 promises another unforgettable weekend of aviation excellence. From fast jets to elegant displays, there’s something for every fan of flight.
