Sip & Paint! An evening of art, history and creativity awaits at St Paul’s Catacombs
Step into an evening of art, history and creativity at St Paul’s Catacombs on Friday, 11th September, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, as Heritage Malta invites visitors to experience this unique archaeological site from a different perspective.
Set within the tranquil gardens surrounding the catacombs, the event offers the perfect opportunity to unwind while discovering Malta’s rich cultural heritage. The evening will begin with a short guided tour of St Paul’s Catacombs, taking participants through the fascinating underground burial complex and introducing them to its history and significance.
The tour will then lead into a relaxed, instructor-led painting session in the peaceful gardens. Inspired by the surroundings and the experience of exploring the site, participants will have the chance to experiment with colour and composition and create their own artwork on canvas.
No previous artistic experience is required, making the session suitable for both experienced painters and those simply looking to try something new. All painting materials will be provided, while wine, water and light snacks will be available to enjoy throughout the evening.
Participants are reminded that the guided tour includes stairs and that some areas may be difficult to access for people with impaired mobility.
Tickets must be pre-booked online or purchased from any Heritage Malta museum or site.
