Thursday 9th July: Malta registers 1 new case & 2 more recoveries
The Ministry for Health just published official figures.

According to the health authorities' daily update post, Malta has registered one new case of COVID-19 after 809 swabs were done in the past 24 hours. Since the outbreak, Malta has registered 674 cases in total and surpassed the 100,000 tests mark this week, performing 104,908 swabs so far.

The authorities also noted that, "the positive case is a local, sporadic asymptomatic case." Another two cases have also recovered, bringing the total recovery tally to 656 and the amount of active cases down to nine.
