They’re back! Jurassic World dinosaur statues erected in Valletta, Birgu, and Mellieha

The Maltese Film Commission and the Ministry for Tourism have erected a number of dinosaur statues across Valletta, Birgu and Mellieha.

These were inspired by the recently released ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ film which was partially shot in Malta.

The film has been showing in cinemas worldwide since the second week of June 2022. Malta, together with its many landmarks, feature prominently all throughout the two hour and twenty-minute film.

These attractions were therefore put in place to let onlookers enjoy the Jurassic experience in the cities and villages that the film was shot in.

They will stay in place until the end of this summer.

Clayton Bartolo, the Minister for Tourism has stated that these attractions will serve as the perfect platform for Malta to continue being an attractive destination for the world of cinema and tourism.

Have you seen any of them around today?
