These hilarious photos show that Malta is (desperately) dreaming of a white Christmas!
We just can’t help it!

It’s Christmas time again! The turkeys are roasting, the fires are crackling and the trees are decorated, all ready for the big day, but one thing is missing. Snow is not falling here on our island. We admit, we’ll probably never see a white Christmas in Malta (sad, I know), but that doesn’t stop us wishing!

These hilarious Photoshopped images offer a glimpse into what Malta could be like if it snowed. Imagine all the roads covered in a blanket of snow! We’d all be outside having snow fights, and building Frosty the Snowman, or well, complaining (knowing us) about the roads being too slippery to drive on!

Just thinking about Buskett and all the ancient trees covered in white snow has us wishing for that white Christmas we’ll never have. Imagine Buskett as our very own Maltese Winter Wonderland!

And some genius took his wishing a step further by creating a video of what it would look like if it were to snow in Nadur, Gozo. Someone is really wishing for a white Christmas!

And while snow is quite impossible (apart from a few rare hail storms which really don't count), this year is expected to be very cold around Christmas and the New Year! According to Malta Weather, Malta and Gozo will be experiencing temperatures below average, so wrap up tight, bring out those fluffy socks and sweaters, and stay warm this festive season!

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?
