Iconic Naxxar palace Palazzo Parisio took to social media to announce the passing of its Founder, Baroness Christiane Ramsay Scicluna. 

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing to eternity of our beloved Baroness - our guide, our inspiration and the heart and soul of the Palazzo Parisio” 

Hundreds flooded the post’s comments section with messages of condolences. 

“She was a woman full of inspiration. Even though I was merely a simple cab driver taking guests for a tour, she invited me to stay and have breakfast. Thank you for being you,” wrote one commenter. 

Palazzo Parisio attracts thousands of visitors every year thanks to its beautiful gardens and well-renowned restaurants.
