The calm after the storm! Malta is set for a mild and dry December week
The rain has definitely gone away!

This coming week in Malta is shaping up to be a calm, mild, and very typical December affair, according to the latest update from the Maltese Islands Weather Facebook page. With southerly winds firmly in control, temperatures hovering between 19°C and 20°C, and no rainfall expected, the islands look set for a pleasantly uneventful stretch of weather.

The week begins on Monday under bright, sunny skies, with daytime temperatures reaching 19°C and light northwesterly winds gradually easing.

From Tuesday onwards, conditions turn partly cloudy, but the sun will still make regular appearances, keeping things comfortable and bright. Daytime highs remain consistent throughout the week, peaking at around 20°C on Wednesday before settling back to 19°C through to the weekend. Night-time temperatures dip only slightly, generally staying between 12°C and 13°C, which is mild for this time of year.

A key feature of the week will be the dominance of southerly winds. These start off light to moderate early in the week but become a little fresher by Friday and Saturday, blowing from the east-southeast. Despite this, conditions remain largely pleasant, especially on land.

Rain lovers may be disappointed, as rainfall amounts are forecast at zero across all days, with rain risk staying low at around 25% from Tuesday onwards.

All in all, it’s a stable, dry, and gentle winter week - nothing dramatic, just classic Maltese December weather at its best.

Did you enjoy last week's stormy weather?
