It's been two years since Jamie Cardona first stepped on stage to perform Mid-Djarju ta’ Student fi Skola tal-Knisja and one year since he broke the record for Malta's longest-running theatrical production.

And yet the show is still going strong, with a fresh round of shows scheduled for June.

“I have no words except thank you to everyone who came to see us at Theatre Next Door and to all those who make this show possible,” Jamie said. “I’m having the buzz of my life. To two more years. See you in June.”

If you haven’t seen it yet, Djarju is a one-man act featuring Jamie as a younger version of himself, along with other characters, as he comes to terms with his sexuality in a very religious environment.
