Take note! Virtu Ferries adds extra Malta - Pozzallo trips for the first Sunday of May
These extra trips are planned due to high demand.
Virtu Ferries has announced additional sailings between Malta and Pozzallo on Sunday, 3rd May, following strong demand from passengers planning trips between the islands.
The ferry operator confirmed that two extra crossings have been scheduled to provide travellers with greater flexibility. The additional morning departure will leave Malta at 08:30 and arrive in Pozzallo at 10:15, offering passengers an early start for a day trip or extended stay in Sicily.
A return sailing has also been added later in the day, departing Pozzallo at 14:30 and arriving back in Malta at 16:15. These extra trips are expected to be particularly popular with weekend travellers, shoppers and tourists looking to make the most of the short sea crossing between the Maltese Islands and southern Sicily.
Virtu Ferries is encouraging passengers to book early, as seats on the additional sailings are limited and demand is expected to remain high.
Will you be travelling to Sicily during that weekend?
