Concertgoers heading to Isle of MTV Malta 2026 on Wednesday, 22nd July can leave the car at home, with Malta Public Transport announcing an extensive network of special late-night bus services to help thousands of attendees travel home safely after the event.

The additional services will operate following the concert at the Granaries in Floriana, complementing the existing Night Route network with extra departures to destinations across Malta. Services will begin from 11pm, offering convenient transport to localities including Sliema, St Julian's, Qawra, Buġibba and Mellieħa, while other routes will connect passengers to Mosta, Rabat, Mtarfa, Żebbuġ, Marsaskala, Marsaxlokk, Birżebbuġa, Xgħajra and the Three Cities.

A range of dedicated special routes, including the S12, S20, S40, S41, S47, S51, S61, S72, S80, S85, S90 and S94, will depart from Valletta at regular intervals throughout the night. Meanwhile, regular night services such as the N3, N13, N48, N52, N62, N71, N82 and N91 will continue to operate, with several of these also receiving additional departures to accommodate the expected crowds.

Travel will remain free for holders of a valid personalised Tallinja Card, while passengers without one can purchase tickets directly on board for €3 using either cash or contactless payment.

Malta Public Transport is encouraging attendees to make use of the enhanced services to enjoy a hassle-free journey to and from one of the island's biggest music events of the year.
