Sweet temptation! Hamrun’s Chocolate Festival returning this October
Calling all chocolate lovers!

Emma Galea

Hamrun's Chocolate Festival is returning again for its 13th edition this Saturday, 21st October.

The town’s centre will be transformed into an absolute chocolate haven!

Chocolate lovers across Malta who visit are set to come across a treasure trove of information, but above all that they’ll also get to enjoy all the delicious delicacies that await them.

The festival is highly known for its show’s stopping sculptures made completely out of chocolate. It is by far the main highlight of the festival each and every year.

Every year the objects of the sculptures are different. Any guesses as to what they might be this year? We’re sure they will as epic as ever!

The Hamrun Chocolate Festival is organised in Hamrun as opposed to any other village because legend has it that during the time of Grand Master Perelos’ rule over Malta, he himself used to store cocoa beans in Hamrun.

So, what better place to celebrate chocolate in Malta, than in Hamrun?

5th October 2023
