Malta experienced a windy weekend last week, but it might be over soon. According to a recent update by Maltese Islands Weather, this week promises a delightful turn in weather conditions.

Starting today Monday, 11th March, the prevailing wind direction shifts to the Northwest, effectively dispersing airborne sand particles and ushering in a clearer atmosphere. With this change, the weather is set to stabilise, offering predominantly sunny days throughout the week.

In fact, while Tuesday and Wednesday are looking partly cloudy, Thursday 14th March onwards is predicted to be fairly sunny. We will also be experiencing fairly high temperatures over the weekend, rising up to 19°C. The lowest temperature will go down to 11°C this week with a real feel of 9°C.

Wind is also set to die down to Force 2-3 from Thursday onwards with the possibility of picking up during the weekend.

However, it’s safe to say that springtime weather is officially here, and tourists and locals alike can anticipate pleasant conditions conducive to outdoor activities and exploration. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the coastline or soaking up the sun in one of Malta's picturesque squares, the week ahead presents an ideal opportunity to enjoy the island's natural beauty and charm.

Are you looking forward to some springtime sun over the coming days?
