Sun, wind & clouds! Malta & Gozo to experience a rollercoaster of weather conditions this week
It’s looking like Malta is getting all seasons in one week 😯

Get ready Malta because we’re in for a weather rollercoaster this week as, according to the Facebook page It-Temp Madwarna, a storm system in the Tyrrhenian Sea is changing the atmosphere.

As of today, Monday 4th March until Tuesday 5th March, we can expect strong winds, accompanied by showers and colder temperatures. However, relief is on the horizon as wetter yet slightly warmer weather approaches by the weekend.

In fact, on Monday, the skies will turn cloudy and windy with chilly showers dominating the latter part of the day. Tuesday will see a continuation of windy conditions with a mix of clouds and sun. The wind is expected to start at a Force 6/7 and die to around Force 5-6 by Thursday 7th March.

Wednesday 6th March and Thursday 7th March promise clearer skies with sunshine making a welcome appearance on both days.

Despite the sun, the wind will persist, particularly down at the weekend, bringing a blend of nice weather and gusts. From Thursday to Friday 8th March, the wind will go down to Force 3-4 and rise back up on Saturday and Sunday to Force 5-6.

Wind intensification from the West Midwest will bring colder temperatures on Monday and Tuesday with the lowest real feel temperature being 7°C on Tuesday, gradually easing up as the week progresses.

Temperatures will hover around 15°C on Monday but gradually rise to a more comfortable 18°C by the weekend with a minimum temperature of 13°C.

Are you looking forward to sunnier weather this March?

4th March 2024
