Summer persists! Hot days ahead with just a hint of rain for Malta this week
Friday 19th brings with it a slight chance of rain!

Brace yourselves, because summer is not over yet! The Maltese Islands are set for another week of warm, mostly sunny weather, with only a brief interruption expected towards the end of the week.

According to Maltese Islands Weather, Tuesday, 16th September, starts off bright and sunny, with highs of 31°C and lows of 23°C. The fine weather continues on Wednesday, 17th September, with mainly sunny skies and the same temperature range. Both days will bring smooth to slightly rough seas, perfect for beach days if you’re here on your end-of-summer vacation or you simply have an off day.

Thursday, 18th September, brings partly cloudy conditions with a slight dip in daytime highs to 28°C. Winds will shift from west-northwest to east, and seas may turn slightly rough. By Friday, 19th September, there’s a 35% chance of light rain; the only wet spell forecast this week. Temperatures will still remain warm, peaking at 28°C, with moderate seas and a low to moderate swell.

The weekend promises a return to more settled conditions. Saturday, 20th September, will be partly cloudy but dry, with highs again at 28°C. Sunday, 21st September, rounds off the week with bright sunshine and slightly cooler evening lows of 21°C.

Overall, Malta will experience predominantly summer-like weather despite the mid-September calendar. With high UV levels and warm seas, it’s an excellent week for enjoying the islands’ outdoors, though Friday’s possible showers may briefly bring some refreshing relief.

Are you looking forward to cooler weather, hopefully, in the coming months?
