Stunning photos show Sicily’s Mount Etna visible from parts of Malta & Gozo this morning
It must have been an incredibly clear morning.
On certain days when visibility across the islands is at its best, sweeping views from some of the highest points in Malta and Gozo can take our eyes as far as Sicily – and this morning was one of those days.
In a collection of photos shared by Simon Grech to the Facebook group MALTA at sunrise, the imposing Mount Etna in Sicily is clearly visible from Zebbug in Gozo, against a striking orange sky.

Fellow members of the group commented that they too were able to see Mount Etna from across the islands, namely from Sliema and Ghargur.
