Starstruck! Maltese actor Marisa Abela graces the cover of prestigious ‘Elle’ magazine
The Maltese actor Marisa Abela skyrocketed to worldwide fame after her stunning portrayal of Amy Winehouse in the biopic ‘Back to Black’. However, before that film released, the actor had already established herself in the acting world with her role in the HBO television series ‘Industry’, which has recently released its third season.
Marisa Abela’s prominence has now truly taken hold, as evidenced in her front-cover feature of the popular magazine Elle UK, also featuring an interview in which she spoke about her experience working on the series.
She said ‘I had been working for eight months on the Amy film and I was physically and emotionally exhausted. It couldn’t have been any other job [that followed so closely], it was very good that it was ‘Industry’ and that it was Yasmin.’
