Local singer-songwriter Lyndsay Pace has taken Malta to the international stage after winning the Best Pop Song Award at the prestigious World Entertainment Awards, held recently in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

The Maltese artist was recognised for her track Trippin, a song that has had hundreds bopping – including the award judges, it seems!

Clearly emotional about the milestone, Lyndsay shared the news with fans on social media.

‘A DREAM COME TRUE!!! I truly believe that this milestone is not just a personal achievement but a proud moment for my home country of Malta! I’m so grateful, humbled and beyond blessed!’ she wrote.

Lyndsay was one of four artists honoured in the Pop Song category, joining an international lineup of winners from across the globe.

Alongside her were fellow award recipients Jennifer Lynn with Light The Sky (Germany), Shervin Boloorian with One More Day (Iran–Bali), and Matilde G with 70ceans (Italy).
