Spoilt for choice! Most beaches in Malta and Gozo marked safe for swimming today

According to the Maltese Islands Weather page, swimmers looking for a beach to start the weekend can have their pick today! All beaches listed on the site are currently marked as safe to swim in.

These beaches are: Marfa, Ramla l-Bir, Little Armier, Armier Bay, Mellieħa, Imgiebah, Mistra Bay, St. Paul's Bay, Qawra, Bahar ic-Caghaq, St. George's Bay, Sliema, Rinella Bay, Marsaskala, St. Thomas Bay, Hofriet, Marsaxlokk, Pretty Bay, Wied iz-Zurrieq, Ghar Lapsi, Fomm ir-Rih, Gnejna Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha, Golden Bay, Anchor Bay, Paradise Bay, Wied il-Ghasri, Xwejni Bay, Qbajjar, Marsalforn, Ramla l-Hamra, San Blas Bay, Dahlet Qorrot, Hondoq ir-Rummien, Mgarr ix-Xini, Xlendi, Dwejra and the Dwejra Inland Sea.

The relatively calm winds and negligible swell mean that there are no rough seas to disrupt swimmers, although always keep an eye out for jellyfish wherever you decide to swim!

The situation is subject to change as the winds do, so make sure to keep updated via the Maltese Islands Weather site.
