Something for everyone! Gozo set to host three exciting cultural events this November
These events are all happening during the first weekend of November.
Gozo is set to host three popular cultural events in November, each growing in scale and popularity over recent years.
First up is ‘Tisbit’, a vibrant percussion concert that blends music with dance in an engaging, rhythmic performance. This unique concert will take place on Saturday, 2nd November, at the Aurora Opera Theatre at 7:30 pm. Admission is free, welcoming all attendees to enjoy this dynamic show.
The following day, on the 3rd of November, brings the third edition of the ‘Sweet Tooth Festival’, a celebration of sweets held in the beautiful Villa Rundle Gardens. This family-friendly festival opens at 10:00 am and invites visitors to indulge in an array of delightful treats, with something to satisfy everyone’s sweet cravings.
On the evening of the 3rd of November, the island will also host ‘Mixehla tal-Qaddisin', a traditional event held across several parish steps and parsonages in Gozo. Beginning at 6:00 pm, the celebration features intricate candlelit designs, illuminating the surroundings and offering a reflective, communal experience inspired by Malta’s saintly heritage.
These events highlight Gozo’s rich cultural diversity and provide something for everyone, from vibrant performances to sweet indulgences and meaningful traditions.
