You might need to rethink your outdoor plans…

After another night of impressive rainfall - producing more than 30mm in the wettest places -many locals woke up to the sight of neighbours mopping up water from behind their doors, and we hate to say... it looks like it’s not over yet!

The Maltese Islands are once again going to be inundated with rain over the next few days. In a Facebook post by Malta Weather, experts announce that “the weather is expected to be with rain showers possibly heavy and thundery becoming mostly cloudy with a SSE Force 4 wind decreasing to Force 2 and backing SE Force 5 overnight. Low of 21°C / High of 24°C.”

The weather page also warns that any thunderstorms “could be heavy and gusty” and rain showers are likely to occur on Saturday and Sunday, too.

Malta Weather Station also warned that rainfall will continue today and “will give rise to more showers over the Mediterranean. The chances for thunderstorms are high as well which could produce heavy precipitation together with strong winds too! Temperatures will remain high for now.”

Did the rain affect your Halloween plans? Don't let the wet weather get you down! Here are some great indoor activities to take your mind off it!
