Simon Spiteri produced a remarkable performance in the Malta Marathon, finishing third overall and setting the fastest marathon time ever recorded by a Maltese athlete in the event’s history.

Simon crossed the line in 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 26 seconds, a milestone achievement made even more impressive given the challenges he faced during the race.

St Patrick’s Athletic Club – the club to which Simon belongs – wrote a post sharing their exuberant pride at their athlete’s ‘dedication, discipline, and determination’.

Congratulations Simon!
