It’s all happening on the 20th of September!

Mark your calendars for a magical night steeped in history and ambience! On Friday, 20th September, Heritage Malta is bringing its enchanting ‘Museums by Candlelight’ experience to Rabat and neighbouring Mdina, following the huge success of previous editions in Birgu and Valletta.

For just a €3 donation, visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore three of Malta’s most iconic heritage sites in a completely new light...literally!

St Paul’s Catacombs, the Domvs Romana, and the National Museum of Natural History will all be illuminated by the soft, flickering glow of candlelight, offering a unique and atmospheric glimpse into Malta’s rich past.

This special evening promises not only historical discovery but also a romantic and reflective ambience perfect for locals and tourists alike. Whether you're fascinated by Roman-era artefacts, curious about Malta’s ancient burial sites, or want to experience Mdina’s timeless charm in a new way, this event is not to be missed.

Stay updated by following Heritage Malta on social media as more details are set to be released closer to the date.

Will you be attending this event in September?
