Sand & rain on their way! Malta's weather is about to take another unpredictable turn
Forget about washing your cars this weekend...

Earlier this week, weather forecasts announced a patch of 'sandy weather' coming our way from the South and although initially thought to last only for four days, it has now extended its stay beyond the end of the week.

Local weather page issued a cheeky warning earlier this morning: "Don't wash your or windows!" the group's Facebook post read. The post continued to reveal that: "We're getting some airborne sand next week across Malta and Gozo so any RAIN is expected to be BLOOD RAIN!"

With a generally cloudy forecast as from Monday, rain is limited only to two days of the week. Indeed, light rain is expected on Monday while heavier showers are expected on Thursday.
