As the sun continues to shine bright on the Maltese islands, an unfavourable weather forecast is starting to hit us.

The Weather Page Malta reports a significant amount of sand coming our way: "The sky across Malta and Gozo will be significantly hazier and with brownish hues at times in the next FOUR days as low pressure over Northern Africa directs abundane amounts of airborne fine desert sand towards us," it was revealed in a Facebook post.

It was also added that such weather conditions are far from ideal, especially in current times: "Bad news for those suffering from asthma or other respiratory conditions!" the post concluded.
