The Malta Records team closed 2025 in the company of the Buttigieg family, celebrating yet another festive milestone. During the visit, they added to the total of bulbs from previous years to officially set a new national record

The record is for the largest number of LED bulbs decorating the façade of a private residence during Christmas, with a total of 62,000 bulbs. This impressive achievement was accomplished by Mr. Gaetano Buttigieg and his family at their home in Mosta, bringing extra sparkle to the festive season.

Adding to the excitement, the decorated façade was featured in the December issue of Passaġġi magazine, which is distributed to all passengers using Malta’s national airline, KM Malta Airlines, giving the family’s spectacular display international visibility.
