We’ve had quite a frosty Christmas season, and it’s looking like the weather for the New Year will be heading down the same route. The chilly weather we have been experiencing in recent days is set to continue into the first few days of 2020, but thankfully, rain doesn’t seem to be part of the equation (so far!).
Today’s forecast boasts an overall sunny day, with highs of 15°C and lows of 8°C. Don’t be fooled by the digits, it will feel around 2°C colder than it actually is – the downside to island life!
Temperatures are expected to stabilize during the remaining days of the way, and while they will continue to peak at 15, the days are expected to grow warmer overall.
On a slightly sourer note, the windy spell has not yet been defeated and strong gusts are expected to pick up and possibly reach F5 throughout the day. While the wind will abate on Thursday and Friday, it is once again expected to hit the F5 mark, or higher, over the weekend.
Hold tight to your woolly hats guys!
