Restoring history! MCAST students give new life to a traditional Maltese shrine in Haz-Zabbar
A great initiative!

Emma Galea

A group of students from MCAST accompanied by their conservation teachers started a traditional Maltese shrine in Haz-Zabbar.

The shrine is dedicated to St Nicholas and had been neglected for a number of years.

Thankfully, these MCAST students have taken to initiative to continue preserving Malta’s history.

Apart from the shrine, they’re also restoring its surrounding wall.

The restoration is not done yet but they’re working hard it and we’ll able to see some positive results soon.
