Reminder! Waste collection schedule in Malta & Gozo to change as of TODAY
On Sunday, no waste will be collected.

In the final months of 2022, it was announced that the schedule for waste collection across Malta and Gozo will change as we ring in the New Year.

Here’s a reminder that from today, 2nd January 2023, the new waste collection schedule will be as follows:

Monday: Organic Waste

Tuesday: Mixed Waste

Wednesday: Organic Waste

Thursday: Recyclable Waste

Friday:  Organic Waste

Saturday: Mixed Waste

Sunday: No waste collected

Any glass bottles or jars that you may have will be collected bi-monthly, specifically on every first and third Friday of the month.

Each locality across the Maltese Islands has a different time for collection which can be accessed through here and found below.
