The bar is freshly refurbished and ready to open its doors after six months.

The Valletta Strait Street bar is a staple restaurant for all foodies and Valletta city dwellers.

Unfortunately, it had closed down around six months ago for refurbishment as Chef Nicholas Diacono announced he will be taking over the kitchen.

This very welcomed news was celebrated by all foodies and Tico Tico bar admirers.

The iconic bar is now open again with a Maltese mezze menu serving dishes that will “change often”, Chef Diacono divulges.

Additional to what already sounds like a very appetizing menu, the bar will have a grand wine list and cocktails like you’ve never tasted before, Chef Diacono continued to share.

Tico Tico Bar will provide you with a dining experience that will transport you to the classical streets of Barcelona.  It will be serving plates like the ones you find in Spain that are meant to be shared between you and your friends!

This will surely make the bar even more iconic than it already was!

Chef Diacono took to Facebook to celebrate the re-opening, captioning the post as “Game on! šŸ’ŖšŸ¼”

We wish you the best of luck with your opening!
