Popular Maltese TV show Xarabank has been cancelled after 23 years
It was the most popular discussion programme in Malta.

It’s the end of the road for prime-time TV show Xarabank, which has been drawing thousands of viewers to TVM every Friday for the last 23 years.

According to a social media post by host Peppi Azzopardi, broadcaster PBS has cancelled the beloved show, which according to the Broadcasting Authority, continued to be the most viewed programme on Maltese television.

The presenter went on to thank all those that were involved in the programme over the years, as well the viewers who contributed to making it to most popular discussion programme in Malta.
