Poor Pupa! Hedgehog in horrible state of health rescued from Comino
She was taken for care at Nature Trust.

Emma Galea

Gozo’s Emergency Response Rescue Corps managed to rescue a poor hedgehog who was in dire need of help from Comino.

The hedgehog, who was named Pupa, was taken to Gozo’s section of Nature Trust where they hope she’ll regain her full health.

Pupa was found extremely underweight, with swollen legs and ears full of maggots.

The vets and volunteers taking care of her are not quite sure if she will make it, but they are hoping for the best.

Best of luck Pupa!
