Plan ahead! Gozo Highspeed announces Christmas Day and New Year’s Day schedule changes

Gozo Highspeed has issued an important service update for passengers planning to travel between Malta and Gozo on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, advising of temporary changes to its ferry schedule during the festive period.

According to the notice shared on the company’s social media platforms, the last departure from both Mġarr and Valletta will be at 11:45am on 25th December and 1st January. Services on both routes will then resume at 3:45pm, allowing operations to pause during the early afternoon hours in observance of the holidays.

Passengers travelling on these dates are being encouraged to plan their journeys carefully and take note of the adjusted timetable to avoid inconvenience. Those needing to travel before midday are advised to book early, as demand during the festive season is typically high.

Gozo Highspeed has also reminded customers that tickets can be booked online to guarantee a seat, helping ensure a smoother travel experience during one of the busiest times of the year.
