Plan ahead! Gozo Channel delays expected due to maintenance works

If you’re planning on crossing between the two sister islands anytime today, it’s best to take note of this update…

Gozo Channel Operations Limited took to social media to announce that due to works being carried out at Mgarr Quay Two and maintenance of ferry M.V. Malita at the drydocks, delays in scheduled voyages “are possible.”

According to the Gozo Channel’s schedule, today ferries are meant to depart Cirkewwa at 3pm, 3:15pm, 3:45pm, 4:30pm, 5:15pm, 6pm, 6:45pm, 7:30pm, 8:15pm, 9pm, 9:45pm, 10:30pm, and 11:45pm.

Similarly, ferries are scheduled to depart Mgarr, Gozo at 3pm, 3:30pm, 4pm, 4:30pm, 5:15pm, 6pm, 6:45pm, 7:30pm, 8:15pm, 9pm, 9:45pm, and 11:15pm.

If you think your commute might be affected by the potential delays, you might be better off opting for the Gozo Fast Ferry today.
