Oh wow! Check out this shot of Bugibba square that’s bringing back a tonne of nostalgia
Incredible!

Bugibba Square has been bustling with locals and visitors alike for years, being a top spot to visit, especially during the summer months. Now practically all pedestrian-only, the square was actually once an arterial area for traffic.

A photo posted to public group Malta Lura Fil Passat shows the square in its glory days, with the upper part of the town connected here with what is now the pedestrian-only Pjazza Walkway. A noticeable difference is obviously the roundabout which is now a chill area where people can sit, chat and grab a bite.

Establishments in the area have come and gone over the years, but the area is still recognisable. Locals even remember dancing on a Sunday afternoon in the middle section during the earlier ‘90s.

Do you remember Bugibba like this?
